About Us

Team Velo Sportif take on a new laid back approach to cycling in the Guildford, Woking & surrounding areas. Since the clubs inception in 2006 our membership has grown from the original handful of friends to over 25 members. We have gone from strength to strength and now have a wide range of active members involved in all sorts of cycling events.
We organise weekly club runs throughout the year and for the latest up to date information please visit our ‘Facebook’ page here - anyone is welcome and we always start the ride at Avenue de Cagny, Pirbright Green.

Over the last few seasons some of our members have become more involved in the competition side of cycling as well as riding non competitive events such as Sportives & Audax events as far afield as Itlay & France.

As well as this a few hard core guys rode from London to Paris in 24 hours, just in time to watch the Tour de France final stage in Paris.

A few of our members have ridden the Etape du Tour over the last few years, taking on a major stage of the Tour de France route.

We also aim to get riders out racing in local events, as well as a few guys riding at national level events.

The MTB scene also seems to be on the up with a few guys trying there hand in the Gorrick series of events over the winter period.

The TVS club is registered with the BCF and CTT. This allows our members to use the BCF insurance, compete in road racing and Time Trials at club and open level. We also occasionally sell second hand bikes and other items to enthusiastic cyclists, click here for the latest offers.
