You know the seasons over when you finish the Gentlemen's 2 TT.
This year I rode with Matthew Wakeford as my pacer. I was expecting a good kicking following Matt  and trying to hold his wheel for 15 miles. Luckily this was not the case Matt having an off day.

Never the less a fairly good result finishing 10th overall and just over 3 minutes behind the winning pair.

1st, Richard Prebble and W Sybrandy Pinarello RT and Agisko. 34.42
10th Andy Sturt TVS and Matthew Wakeford Sigma Sport 38.14.
 
We should have been faster as Matt wanted to retire after the first climb, I had to talk him into continuing all be it at a reduced pace on the lumpy course.
New Forest CC 10 on the P311.
 
 
I would call this a slightly sporting course being on a country road. Never a fast course, but was happy to improve on my last visit a couple of years ago.

Always liked this course. It makes a nice change from belting up and down a dual carriageway. It can be blindingly fast in places and very slow in others but always interesting.
An amazing ride by Paul Pickup not quit a course record but not far off.
This year the longer distance TT's have been better for me 3 pb's at 50 miles taking over 4 minutes of my best time from last year, and now a p.b on this course taking over a minute of my best on this course.
Another good ride by Andy Bigwood, Pleased to say he didn't make up the 3 minutes start time difference between us. I was expecting to see him come past.
